Office Fit-out for Lindsays WS Solicitors
Lindsays WS were voted Law Firm of the Year 2007 in the Law Awards of Scotland. Donald Findlay, QC, noted that Lindsay’s had won “as a result of their exceptional strategy for the transformation of the firm.”
As well as designing new office buildings we have experience of fit outs within existing buildings. This is critical to our understanding of what makes a good office building in the first instance. We have developed strategies, which anticipate the fit out and future proofing of new build from the experience we have had in fitting out a building for its actual occupants.
This particular fit out is for Lindsays WS, one of Edinburgh’s long established law practices. The design challenge is centred on how to take a respected practice forward in design terms without losing some of the gravitas they have acquired over the years. Following on from our previous fit out for the legal practice Shepherd and Wedderburn we emphasised simple elegant plan ideas with robust and noble materials.
